City Cancer Challenge

3PD helped C/Can to realise the value of data to better deliver their vision

C/Can leads a city-based partnership initiative that aims to improve access to quality cancer care in cities around the world by transforming the way stakeholders from the public and private sectors collectively design, plan, and implement cancer solutions.

C/Can’s leadership saw data as a key asset in achieving its goal of improving access to quality cancer care in cities and they turned to 3PD to help them take their front-line experience in data collection and intervention, and to formulate a data strategy that would support the effectiveness, sustainability and reach of C/Can activities at the city, regional and global levels.

C/Can leads a city-based partnership initiative that aims to improve access to quality cancer care in cities around the world by transforming the way stakeholders from the public and private sectors collectively design, plan, and implement cancer solutions.

3PD brought cross-industry experience in Collection, Analytics and Data Science to C/Can’s context of heterogeneous cities, with unique healthcare systems, cancer care priorities and needs. Initially crafting a vision for data aligned to the organization’s goals to sustainably scale-up its efforts, then facilitating the team to lay out a data strategy for the assessment of key cancer care gaps and priorities in cities, and the development of data-driven locally-adapted solutions to improve cancer care.

This inspires and aligns C/Can and future participating cities to a vision based around the value of data to deliver their mission.

“Our collaboration with 3PD has resulted in a clear vision and strategy for data, with a roadmap for defining the processes, structures and resources needed to fully leverage this data and ensure that it supports our organisational and programmatic priorities”.
